Dear members of District 28A:
Now that my first legislative session is over, I want to let you know about the accomplishments and challenges we faced. A summary is listed here for 2007(click) and here for 2008. But first things first: Thank you for your vote and your support. With your help, I’ll continue working for you.

My Mission:
Helping the next generation is really important to me. 
When I leave the legislature, I’d like to see the
 environmental, economic and social structure improved 
so that it will benefit future generations. 





Key Dates for 2008—mark your calendars:

Statehood Commemoration events will take place around Minnesota. For details, click here.
Primary Election: Tuesday, September 9, 2008. 
General Election: Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
Legislative Session No. 86 convenes on Tuesday, January 6, 2009.
RECENT EVENTS:
Red Wing Health Center members receive  a check from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. This money helps health care workers in hospitals and nursing homes to provide safety to the residents and to themselves. Steve Swiggum, Commissioner of the Department on the right with Sandy.

Vice-Chair of the Taxes Committee 
Meets: Mondays at 2:15 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

Member of the Government Operations 
Reform, Technology, and Elections Policy Committee
Meets: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. 
in Room 200 of the State Office Building
Member of the Veterans Affairs Division Policy Committee
Meets: Fridays at 8:00 a.m.

Your refundable financial help is needed to cover the cost of my campaign. When you send my campaign up to $50 for each eligible voter in your household, you will receive a receipt. This receipt you send in and the State of Minnesota will refund you your $50 contribution.
