Dear members of District 28A:

I have received some key committee assignments which puts me in a good position to deliver for you. Passing permanent property tax relief will be my top priority on the tax committee. We'll also have the opportunity to ensure that we live up to Minnesota’s tradition of tax fairness.
The swearing in ceremony will take place on January 3, 2007 and we go to work immediately thereafter.

Here are my committee assignments:

Vice-Chair of the Taxes Committee.
Meets: Mondays at 2:15 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Member of the Government Operations
Reform, Technology, and Elections Policy Committee.
Meets: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m.
in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Member of the Veterans Affairs Division Policy Committee.
Meets: Fridays at 8:00 a.m.
in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
