Cecelia Dodge and Mike Martini
Cannon Falls Co-Chairs
Cecelia Dodge, a lifelong Democrat, is proud to volunteer her time to help get Sandy elected. Born to progressive, activist parents, she has politics in her blood. Cecelia has been a special education teacher in MN schools and supervisor of special education policy at the MN Department of Education, where she worked on special education funding and laws and policies to reform education programs for children and youth who are placed for care, treatment and corrections. Her work in this area has been recognized by the MN Association for Children’s Mental Health (MACMH) and Lt. Gov. Mae Schunk.

Michael and Cecelia are the parents of five children and live in Cannon Falls.
“Sandy admits that she’s not an expert in everything that we care about:
juvenile justice policy, for example. But she listens and learns.
What we appreciate most is that we know where she stands on important issues. We know we will not always agree with her on everything – that’s
not a realistic expectation of anyone. But, we trust her to make good decisions and have real solutions to the problems that are important to us.”
